Born in Cuba, Pavel attended high school and college in Havana. He studied law, specializing in International Law and Copyright. His work as an International Relations Official for the Ministry of Culture in Cuba allowed him to keep up with all the interesting events in the vibrant Cuban cultural scene, until 2009 when he moved to Ecuador with his wife. Pavel got involved in real estate as a sales representative for a builder, and ad sales for an important marketing company. Later, he worked in sales, rentals, and property management in Kentucky and New York.

Pavel decided to focus on Insurance and opened his own Independent Insurance Agency in Kentucky to leverage being fluent in Spanish in order to serve the growing Latino community.

In his free time, he enjoys going to cultural events and exploring new restaurants with his wife and daughter. As pet lovers, they also like taking their two rescue dogs for long walks.
